Microblading Pre-Care Instructions and Acknowledgement Form
To ensure the best results and a smooth healing process, please carefully follow these instructions before your Microblading procedure
Important Restrictions:
- No vacation or extended sun exposure for at least 10 days after the procedure. Plan accordingly.
- Avoid hot or humid environments (beach, sauna, steam rooms, pools, etc.) for 10 days post-procedure.
One Week Before:
- Stop taking blood thinners such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or niacin (unless prescribed by a doctor).
- Avoid retinol, acids, or exfoliants on the brow area.
- No Botox or fillers in the forehead or brow area one week prior.
24 Hours Before:
- No alcohol, caffeine, or energy drinks.
- Avoid intense exercise that raises your heart rate significantly.
On the Day of the Appointment:
- Wash your hair and shower in the morning—you’ll need to keep the brow area dry afterward.
- Come with a clean face—no makeup, moisturizers, sunscreen, or lotions on the face.
- Tie or pin back all hair away from your forehead.
Medical Conditions & Medications:
- If you have diabetes, pre-diabetes, heart conditions, autoimmune disorders, or any other health issues, you must provide a doctor’s approval letter before the appointment.
- If you are pregnant or nursing, Microblading is not recommended.
- If you are currently or have recently been on Accutane (Isotretinoin) for acne, you must wait at least one year after your last dose before having Microblading done. This medication affects skin healing and can cause serious complications if ignored.

Please read carefully and follow these steps after your microblading treatment to insure safety and a successful recovery

To ensure proper healing and achieve the best results, please follow the aftercare instructions below
carefully. Proper aftercare will help prevent infection and ensure the pigment sets in your skin for beautiful, long-lasting brows. If you have any questions or concerns during your healing process, please contact us.
Cleaning & Maintenance
First 24 Hours:
- Keep the brow area clean and dry. Avoid applying any creams or water on the brows.
- Gently blot the area with a clean tissue to remove lymph fluid.
After 24 Hours (Day 2 onward):
- Wash Hands: Always wash your hands before touching your brows.
- Gentle Cleansing: Every four hours, use a Q-tip dipped in sterile water to gently clean the brow area.
- After cleaning, pat dry with a clean tissue.
- Antibacterial Cream Application: After drying, apply a thin layer of antibacterial cream using a clean Q-tip.
***Frequency: Repeat cleaning and cream application every four hours for 5 days, then twice daily until fully healed.***
Healing Phases: What to Expect
- Day 1: Brows appear bold, dark, and slightly swollen/red.
- Days 2-4: Brows may become darker with thin scabs forming.
- Days 5-7: Flaking and peeling begin; brows may look patchy or lighter.
- Days 8-14: Peeling should finish, and color will gradually return.
- After 4-6 Weeks: True color is visible; a touch-up is recommended at 6-8 weeks.
Restrictions: What Not to Do During Healing
- Avoid getting brows wet (no swimming, hot tubs, or direct water contact).
- No sweating (avoid heavy exercise, steam rooms, saunas).
- No direct sun exposure or tanning beds.
- No makeup, creams, or skincare products on the brows.
- No picking, scratching, or peeling of scabs.
- No facial treatments or laser procedures near the brows.
- No hair treatments or appointments for at least two weeks.
- Avoid sleeping on your face for the first week.
Special Considerations (Compromised Immune Systems)
- Healing may take longer if you have a weakened immune system.
- Higher risk of infection; follow aftercare strictly.
- Consult your doctor if you have concerns; a physician’s note may be required.
